Build your 3d website using three.js, HTML and CSS. (the guide is amazing too :3)
Publish the website using Vercel(recomended :D), and show it to the world!
Submit the website you built, and we will send you a grant to buy yourselves tickets!
Minimum of 2 hours and 1 geometric shapes/models required on a project
Minimum of 3 hours and 2 geometric shapes/models required on a project
Minimum of 4 hours and 4 geometric shapes/models required on a project
> You are a high school student (under 18)
> Your website should be only using HTML, CSS and Javascript
> Your website must include content and have meaning
> No AI is allowed to be used to make the website
> Add at-least 1 unique feature for your website such as Scrolling Animations,
Unique Geometry and even Cool Animations. It's upto you to make it unique!
> Your website should use CSS styling
> Your website should contain at-least 1 texture
> Your website should contain a minimum of 1 geometric shape/3d model
(implementing more shapes/models with more hours can get you higher grants)
> Your website should be ONLY made by Three.js
> Where do I ask for help? : For questions, ask in #polygon in slack. For questions related to
Polygon, DM @zeeno. on the Slack. For questions about club meetings, DM @jps on the Slack
> How do I make a 3d website? : Making a 3d website is actually very simple, if you don't
know how to make one then following the guide would be helpful. You can find it in the
Resources mentioned above.
> What can I buy for this grant? : You are supposed to buy movie tickets to your favourite movie
(ps: if you have some money still left on your grant after buying the tickets, then you can spend
the rest on popcorn!)
> Can I use anything besides three.js? : You are supposed to ONLY use three.jsfor your website,
any other library for the project won't be accepted and you will not a get a grant unfortunately :C
